Another remake of Korean drama, “Full House” of Song Hye Kyo and Rain are now on-progress. The broadcast company in Taiwan has announced that they will have a remake of that drama and now they were preparing for it.

The main characters was chosen already and the main actor will be Wu Chun (from Fahrenheit) and female actress will be Zhou Xun. The production will worth over 3 million dollars, a Taiwanese news portal site UDN said.

Another remake is a Philippine remake of this drama. I just realized this last week when I saw the station id of the upcoming shows of GMA-7. The Full House (Philippine remake) will premiers on August, sorry but I don’t know the exact date of airing this drama ‘coz I’m not a Kapuso fan. Anyways, Marian Rivera and Richard Gutierrez are the chosen one to play the role of Han Ji-Eun (Jessie Han) and Lee Young Jae (Justine Lee).

Tthere’s a new remake that ABS-CBN will produce. Now, its the popular Taiwanese series “Meteor Garden” that hits the Philippines last 2003 (I guess?). I still remember those days, I’m one of those fans who have been hooked with the drama especially the “F4” and the cute female cast named “Shancai” portrayed by Barbie Xu. I even make a fansite about them LOL, but srsly thanks to them ‘coz without this drama I’m not introduced to web designing. Haha. Got curious huh? The rest is history.

Ok, back to the main topic. The Philippine remake of Meteor Garden which officially named as “Brat Boys Beyond“. I haven’t seen this news in local showbiz news in television but I used to read those articles online. Sarah Geronimo is confirmed that she’ll gonna portray as Shancai. There are also rumored F4 casts (which has not confirmed from ABS-CBN) revealed: Enchong Dee as Dao Ming Si, Robi Domingo as quiet member of F4 ‘Hua Zhe Lei’, and Aldred Gatchalian as Xi Men. The last F4 member has not been revealed but let’s just see on the following weeks or months if there’s an update about it. :))

Srsly, I’m one of those fans who doesn’t like remakes most especially if its a Philippine remake of Asian series. Let me ask you something, what if the other countries who have been seen the Taiwanese series, “Meteor Garden” will say something about the Brat Boys Beyond? Most especially if there are negative feedbacks about the remake. Will you consider it or not? Of course not! You’ll definitely defend it since you need to patronize them especially when you’re one of the main casts fan. But for me, I don’t think so… ’nuff said.

I know, you know that we all have our own taste, opinions and thoughts when we watched something. And definitely if you don’t like the story, I bet that you can’t stop ranting about it. Well, I’m the person who can’t stop ranting when I don’t like the drama, just like the “My Girl” (Philippine remake) before. K, I’ll just shut my mouth about it. It doesn’t mean that I hate Philippine remakes, it’s just I don’t understand why do we have to make our own remakes? Argh.

I’ll be proud of to Philippine Entertainment Industry if they’ll make a new one, should I say an original story not just a remake from other countries.
