It was a particularly tiring day, yet after you fall on the bed and turn out the lights, you find that sleep does not come as easily as expected. This is usually happens when your body is still uptight and your mind is primed for more duties that might need your attention. Indeed, when there are kids to look after and chores to fulfill, it isn’t always easy to set aside all worries long enough for you to take a snooze.
But a good night’s sleep is essential if you want to wake up alert and able to care for your family and for yourself. This means having more than just an eight-hour shut-eye, which sometimes leaves you feeling more tired than rested. What you need is a deep, undisturbed slumber for an awakening that refreshes. If you find that a restful sleep remains elusive, a healthy nighttime regimen might be just what you need to put your body in the mood for a snooze.
