I’m sharing you my experiences being accepted in data entry job last year from one of the Outsourcing website. I think it took me for this kind of job for 3 months only, I even ask my older brother to help me with this so that he’ll get paid also. Buti nalang mabait ako, no?
If you’ll ask me what does Data Entry jobs do?
- all you have to do is type whatever your clients provided you. They’ll give you some details about it for you to be able to understand and to start your job without any flaws.
Based on my experience, the job that I’ve got accepted is Data Entry job were you’ll type every words from the images that they’ll going to provide you, then you need to add basic HTML codes on it also.
I have here the percentage deduction list for the errors done that they provided:
| Type of Error | Number of Errors | % of Deduction |
| Line Missing/Extra Line | Each Line | 10% |
| Improper text alignment | Each Page | 5% |
| Spelling errors | Each 1 error | 1.5% |
| Extra line enters | Each line enter | 2% |
| Text missing / Extra Text. | Each 5 characters | 2% |
| Extra enters | Each 10 enters | 2% |
| Extra space | Each 10 space | 2% |
| Other line data | Each word | 2% |
| Double space | Each 5 double space | 2% |
| Grammar error | Each five errors | 2% |
| Extra symbols/symbols missing | Each five symbols | 2% |
By just looking at these lists, some of you might think that its easy, some might think its hard most especially if your typing speed is low. But for us, its fine since we’re really good in typing. The importance of this job is the accuracy of your work, make sure that you’re doing well and you’ll not going to have errors just like what they provided on the above lists.
Honestly speaking, its really hard for us to work on this kind of job. Why? Because first and foremost, you need time to focus more on this job. Timezone is the only main problem here, since our client/customer is from other countries, its hard for us to get up until in the morning, sometimes we don’t even sleep just to finished the work, srsly. Second, your work must be accurate. Third, on every finished work you’ve done, you must proofread them. Atleast, we experienced already being a data entry typist.
Here’s the sample screenshot that I’m talking about that you’ll need to convert the image into text/html format.

Don’t think that data entry job is a joke, you must put all your best to this. If you think you’re ready to become part of this data entry job, time management, concentration, hardwork, determination and patience are really important on this kind of field. Goodluck!!!
PS: This is not a sponsored review okay? :D Did I even mentioned I applied for captcha entry jobs also? But its not worth it eh, ‘coz some customers are offering an average of $0.80-$1 per 1,000 captcha entries. Nah, parang lugi ka ata dun? Haha.

Yeah, mabagal siya, depende rin dun sa server nung company or whatsoever. Kainis noh? Tsaka for 1k = $1 lang ata un makukuha, ganun din ba ung rate ng pinasukan mo?
